Is lip filler sore?
This is a common question amongst our new clients. Lip filler is a very short treatment and will be over before you know it. We would say that in the grand scheme of things it is not painful however you may experience some slight discomfort and a stinging sensation as the needle enters. To combat this we use numbing cream as standard which should minimise any discomfort.
How long does the treatment take?
Lip filler appointments are booked in half hour time slots however a large part of this is preparation and waiting for the cream to kick in. Getting filler in your lips is a very short treatment.
How long To see lip filler results
You will notice results from the day of your treatment however you some people might experience swelling etc which can take a few days to subside.

What Is Lip Filler Made of?
Lip filler is made of hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring substance found in your body. It is totally safe when performed by a trained aesthetics practitioner
Is lip filler reversible?
Lip filler is totally reversible, we offer this as a service from our clinic in East Kilbride, just outside Glasgow. We dissolve the filler by injecting hyaluronidase. Once completed the filler will be totally dissolved within 2 weeks.
Are you trained in complications?
Yes, as well as being trained in advanced aesthetics and having completed dozens of training courses to earn my accreditations I am trained in lip filler complications. The treatment itself is very low risk with the only serious complication being a vascular occlusion. We are both trained and prepared with hyaluronidase to fix the issue if it ever did occur.
