Botox FAQ's
The time botox lasts will vary from person however we would say the average time is about 12 weeks. For best results it is always recommended to book a new appointment before full movement returns to the targeted area.
The effects of botox will begin between 1-3 days after your treatment however you won’t notice the full effect of the botox until about 14 days after. After the 14 days, we will book you in for a review of the treatment and can offer a top-up where necessary.
Having treated hundreds of patients we would say the general consensus is that botox isn’t a painful treatment however everyone’s pain threshold is different and you may experience a stinging sensation from the injections. It is completely normal to have tenderness and minor brusing after your treatment, any soreness will subside after an hour or so.
